Teddy Bear Outfit

I made this outfit for the bear above for my little sister. I used denim style fabric with white lace and flowered ribbon. I also used some red bows I had. I made the dress using a rectangle piece of fabric and added shoulder straps with two pieces of rectangle shaped fabric. I added elastic to the straps. I made a shoulder bag which was also in the shape of a rectangle.  This was very easy to make and I finished it in one day.

Shoulder Bag Craft

This was a simple bag that I sewed together. It was from a pack that had all the parts ready for you just to sew together yourself. I made this for my little sister and she loved it.

Keyrings from plastic beads

I made some lovely keyrings using the plastic beads that have to be ironed. I placed the beads onto the plastic boards and made a design of a key and a girls face. I left a space on the board so when I ironed it, it had a hole to place the hoop keyring into.

Painted Stationery Holder

The photograph above shows a Stationery Organiser that I decorated and put together.

This was a gift that I received from a friend and I really enjoyed making it into my own design. The photograph below shows the box that this came in. I had to gpaint and glue all the parts together in my own style.

Painted Box

The above photograph shows a small box which I decorated with painting patterns. This is great to keep little things inside so I don't lose them.

Cupcake Card

This is a cupcake card that I made for my mum for Mother's day.  It is made from Crepe paper scrunched and glued onto a yellow A4 Card. My Mum loved the card because it is so unusual.

Hairband Tree

Hairband Tree - I used an old mug tree to store my hairbands. You could use these trees to store jewellery or scissors too. You could paint the trees to match your room decoration if you wish.

Strawberry Shortcake bag

I made this bag, which I used when I dressed up as strawberry shortcake a few years ago. It is made of red and green felt which I stitched together.  I also glued on a plastic strawberry picture on the front.

Bumble Bee Craft

I found this bumble bee that I made when I was aged about 7.  I had stored it in a box to keep it safe and forgot all about it! I actually made this at school it was real fun!

Soft Ball

This is a ball that I made a while ago, they really are quite easy to make and you could do any colour that you want. You just have a few petal shapes of fabric and sew them together, I got a free pattern from the internet to do this ball.

Best Friends Forever Art Work

This is a piece of art that I made for my best friend Emily.  She made one for me that I posted about a while back, so I made her one too.

Tree Artwork

I made this artwork of a tree using scrunched up black paper to make the trunk. I used pipe cleaners to make some branches and to make the mouth. I used cotton wool to decorate the bottom of the tree and the top. I also added some googlie eyes. I stuck the tree onto a round paper plate to make it steady.

Paper Lantern

Here is a paper lantern that I made last year. These are really easy to make, just using one sheet of A4 paper. You just need to colour in a design on each 4 sides and fold and stick to the other side using tape or glue.  Once finished you place the lantern over a covered candle and you have a lovely reflection.

Sunday Lunch Art

This is something I made in one of my art classes that I attended on Saturdays.  It is a Sunday Lunch made from clay.  I am very sad because the art classes that I used to love to attend have now been stopped because of lack of funding. I miss everyone who used to go. Now I won't get much chance to do a variety of art which I used to love doing.

Playdough Art

This a photograph of some things I was making recently using playdough. I used some printed face expressions to add to my artwork which helped them stand out a bit more. You can make many different things and designs with playdough. I used the shop bought playdough for this project but you can make your own playdough with a few things from the kitchen.

Easy Gift Pouch

This is a photograph of a gift pouch I made recently. These are really easy to make.

All you need are 2 triangle shapes of fabric, a piece of ribbon and a needle and thread.  You sew the two pieces of the fabric together. Then you bend the 3 corners down and stitch across leaving a gap to thread the ribbon through.  Then you sew up 3 of the sides until you reach the bottom of the bend triangle ends. Then you thread your ribbon through and you have a cute little pouch.  These can be used to place small gifts for friends and family.

Felt Bookmark

This is a felt bookmark that I made for one of my friends.   I normally like to sew on my felt bookmarks but this time I just used fabric paints to decorate it. Using fabric paints is much quicker than sewing, but you still have to wait a while for the paint to dry.

Fingerless Gloves

The photograph above shows some fingerless gloves that I made using old jumper sleeves.  The sleeves were from an adult old pink wool jumper that was put into the washing machine to shrink and felt. Once the jumper was felted and easy to cut, I cut off the sleeves and measured how long I wanted my gloves.

I cut them to the length needed, I turned the edge up to make it thicker on the wrist. I then cut two slits in each glove to make space for the thumbs. I then hand stitched a few stitches to make the thumb and fingers separate.  I then hand sewed some silver lace/ribbon onto the cuffs. Then I stitched on a blue small ribbon all the way around and made into a little bow for decoration.

I now have some lovely pink gloves that I love wearing.

Best Friends Artwork

This is a photo of a gift i received from my best friend. We have been best friends since we were 3 so nearly 7 years now. She is the bestest friend you could ask for. I used to go to the same school as her but then I had to move schools. Even though we don't live near each other we still always stay in touch and visit each other as much as we can. I really love her gift and I am going to try to make one for her too.
