Fingerless Gloves

The photograph above shows some fingerless gloves that I made using old jumper sleeves.  The sleeves were from an adult old pink wool jumper that was put into the washing machine to shrink and felt. Once the jumper was felted and easy to cut, I cut off the sleeves and measured how long I wanted my gloves.

I cut them to the length needed, I turned the edge up to make it thicker on the wrist. I then cut two slits in each glove to make space for the thumbs. I then hand stitched a few stitches to make the thumb and fingers separate.  I then hand sewed some silver lace/ribbon onto the cuffs. Then I stitched on a blue small ribbon all the way around and made into a little bow for decoration.

I now have some lovely pink gloves that I love wearing.
