Last week I made a chocolate cheesecake, I followed a recipe that my mum uses but I did it with white chocolate instead of milk chocolate. It was yummmmmy and we all enjoyed eating it. Here is the recipe that I used to make this delicious cheesecake.
Ingredients:
- 1 tub of cream cheese (300g)
- 1 packet of digestive biscuits (300g)
- 2 large white chocolate bars (200g each)
- Butter (100g)
- A few drops of vanilla essence
Instructions:
Step 1: Crush the digestive biscuits
Step 2: Melt the butter
Step 3: Mix the butter with the crushed biscuits
Step 4: Place the biscuit mixture into the cake tin (I used a heart shaped flexible mould)
Step 5: Place the tin into the fridge to cool and set the biscuit
Step 6: Mix the cream cheese with the fork
Step 7: Add a few drops of vanilla essence into the cream cheese
Step 8: Snap the chocolate into small pieces and melt (leave some for sprinkles later)
Step 9: Mix the cheese and chocolate together
Step 10: Place the chocolate/cheese mixture on top of the biscuit base
Step 11: Decorate the top with sprinkled chocolate (I used a cheese grater)
Step 12: Place in the fridge to set
