I have been busy lately on a crafty project. There was a local creative competition to celebrate 150 years of the book Alice in Wonderland. Both me and my sister entered our designs. I decided on doing a teacup design similar to one in the movie. I had to work on different pieces of work and then put them together to make the final piece.
Step 1: I designed the 'Drink Me' bottle. I used a small glass bottle that you can find in most craft stores and filled it with a blue liquid. I used blue facepaint and water mixed together. Then I made a handmade 'drink me' card and placed it on the bottle.
Step 2: Then using FIMO clay I made the Alice in Wonderland figurine.
Step 3: I then decorated a plain white tea-set I already had. I used a pink sharpie pen to design the cup and then heated it in the oven.
Step 4: I used a spoon and bent it slightly and then glued all the pieces onto the cup and saucer.
My little sister made a canvas design which she also entered into the competition. The photo is below.
