Acrylic Painting

This past week I have been trying Acrylic painting instead of watercolours. I like the vivid colours that this painting has. I started doing this painting in the art club that I recently joined. The photo below shows me when I first started doing this piece.

Cute Squirrel Keyring

I decided to make a project using some felt this week because my little sister was also using the felt to make her own project.  I chose to make a cute squirrel keyring with some bright coloured felt.

I didn't follow any tutorials for this, I simply cut out the design by freehand and worked with what fabric I had in the house. All that was needed was some felt (Pink, white and black) and a needle and thread (white and black).

Cookie Decorating

This Eid my family and I made and decorated cookies that we could give as gifts to our friends.  The photograph above are just some of the cookies that I designed using a henna style design. Below is me decorating one of the cookies.

We also made and decorated some cookies in a sheep design.

Watercolor Painting

I have recently joined a local art group and have been learning new art techniques. I have been trying out watercolors and getting a few helpful tips from other members, some of them with decades of experience.
